The robust pit cleaning unit meets all requirements for use within a Zone 1 rated hazardous area and conforms to ATEX Group II Category 2G IIB T4. The unit operates a Toftejorg rotary jet tank cleaning machine, which is designed to reduce man entry time where the additional pumps remove the resulting waste from the cleaning process. The system also incorporates a five rope sling assembly line, pivotal in the cleaning process.
